CVE Center Meetings with Regional Education Departments and Educational Offices (DAR/ZA)

In line with the Action Plan of the National Strategy against Violent Extremism, the CVE Center organized in December 2018 information meetings (12 districts) with officials and specialists of the Regional Educational Offices and Educational Offices (DAR/ZA) as well as officials and psychologists working in schools. The purpose of these meetings was to present the CVE Action Plan (2018-2020) for the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.

The participants were introduced to the Action Plan measures and activities and to the role and functioning of the CVE Center.

The information meetings took place in the months of November-December 2018 as follows:

During the meetings, the participants took note of the need to undertake concrete activities in order to provide more security for children and young people who may be at risk of radicalization or violent extremism. During the conversations, opinions were shared on some issues identified as necessary to be considered for intervention with a view to prevention.
