The CVE Center finalized a two-day training cycle for members of Local Public Safety Councils in several municipalities in the country on community acceptance for returnees from conflict zones.

The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism together with the organization Terre des Hommes completed the two-day training cycle for fourteen members of the Local Public Safety Councils from the municipalities of Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Cërrik, Librazhd, Pogradec, Bulqiza, and Peshkopi, on community reception of returnees from conflict zones. Participants learned about issues related to the Strategy and interventions for integration into a new community of returnees, their safety and well-being, coordination and inter-institutional work to facilitate the resocialization process, and the promotion of a supportive community;

This training cycle takes place within the project “Safe Resilience and Reintegration for children and mothers returning from war zones” and is implemented by Terre des Hommes with the financial support of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund.
