The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism participated in the international online conference on “Education, Sustainability, Inclusion” organized on September 15, 16, 17, 2020, by the International Ambassador of Freedom of Religion at the United States Department.

The purpose of the conference was to promote respect, diversity and religious harmony in the education system, in order to oppose ideas and narratives that justify violence, discrimination and terrorism.

This conference, which was attended by around 150 participants from around the world, highlighted the role of family, community and schools as spaces where young people learn to respect or convey their diversity, how they look, where they come from, or what they worship.

The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism is committed to combating violence and discrimination on religious bases.
