The EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation held a one-day event in Brussels on the topic: “EU Member States’ Strategies for Preventing Radicalisation and Violent Extremism – Lessons for Ukraine.”
The event brought together policymakers, national representatives, researchers, and experts from EU Member States and international partners to promote the exchange of expertise, research, and best practices in the field of preventing and countering violent extremism (PCVE) in Europe and beyond.

Albania was represented by the National Coordinator for Countering Violent Extremism, Ms. Lejdi Dervishi, who was invited to share the country’s positive experience in addressing the challenges posed by radicalisation and violent extremism.
In her remarks, Ms. Dervishi, among other things, highlighted the proper addressing of the legal framework, the successful inter-institutional approach, and the practices implemented in the field with a comprehensive approach, to assist Ukrainian legislators in aligning the national legal framework with the EU Acquis and policies.

Through its network of experts, practitioners, and policymakers, the EU Knowledge Hub supports strategic initiatives by producing analytical reports, facilitating thematic discussions, and promoting research that informs national and European security strategies.
