The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism in Albania, Mrs. Dervishi was invited to a regional event, along with her counterparts from Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, organized by the GCERF (Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund) to discuss on the rehabilitation and reintegration of former foreign terrorist fighters & their families returning from conflict zones in Syria and Iraq.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the GCERF, CVE National Coordinators from Albania, Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, donors & civil society organizations of these 3 Western Balkans countries.

GCERF, made a brief presentation of its Replenishment campaign and the main elements in focus: building structures and capacities, expertise, communication, promote change, etc. This new elements introduced by GCERF will be developed through programs funded by this organization, which will be implemented by civil society organizations, such as the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM), Counseling Line for Women and Girls, Terre des Hommes (TDH).
