The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE Center) participated in a four-day training session titled “Integrated and Sustainable Services for Professionals Working with Families Returning from War Zones.” Organized by Terre des hommes under the project “Prevention and Safe Reintegration: Holistic Approach and Resilience to Violent Extremism,” funded by GCERF, the training brought together around 20 professionals. Participants included psychologists, managers, specialists, and representatives from the CVE Center, Child Protection Units, social service units, and the police. The initiative aimed to strengthen professional capacities, improve inter-institutional communication, and enhance support for families affected by radicalization and violent extremism.
The training emphasized the importance of confidentiality, collaboration, and targeted interventions to support the safe reintegration of returning families. It also focused on raising awareness about the need for coordinated efforts to build resilience against violent extremism and protect Albanian society. Through this initiative, the CVE Center reaffirms its commitment to fostering sustainable solutions for rehabilitation and reintegration, ensuring a safer and more cohesive society.
