The second day of the meeting of the Regional Network of National Coordinators for Violent Extremism and Terrorism was organized in Sarajevo. In this event, the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism headed by its director Mr. Denion Meidani, who is also the National Coordinator for Violent Extremism and Terrorism, continued with the second round of meetings with the International Organization of Migration (IOM).

The National Coordinators of Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, OSCE, Ms. Laura Lungarati Head of Mission, IOM Sub-Regional Coordinator for the Western Balkans, Mrs. Klaudia Kuljuh IOM Regional Program Manager for Violent Extremism and Terrorism, Mrs. Alketa Gaxha, representative of IOM Albania, as well as representatives of the Anti-Terrorist units, the Ministry of the Interior, representatives from the countries of the region, etc.

The Director of the CVE Center and the National Coordinator for Violent Extremism and Terrorism, Mr. Meidani, after explaining the rehabilitation and reintegration processes of persons returned from conflict areas in Albania, reiterated the fact that the Western Balkans must have a common and well-coordinated regional approach to opposing and fighting this phenomenon.
