20/04/2021The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism participated in training to increase knowledge and evaluation of laws on the right to information and personal data protection.
In order to increase the capacity of the staff, the CVE Center in cooperation with the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection office conducted the training: “The right to information and the protection of personal data in relation to P/CVE matters – basic legal standard and their limitations”
The training was conducted in the framework of institutional obligations deriving from Law No. 119/2014 “For the right to information”, and Law No. 9887, date 10.03.2008 “For Personal Data Protection”.
Representatives of the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection Office focused on addressing two important issues related to an institutional activity: the right to information – basic principles and institutional obligations in the framework of the obligation for transparency from the public, and the protection of personal data and institutional obligations deriving from this right.
