The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Mediterranean University of Albania in the framework of defining areas and ways of cooperation for the implementation of the National Strategy: “Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Action Plan”.
The agreement was signed at the premises of the Mediterranean University by the Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, and the Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici.
Mrs. Dervishi and Mr. Civici, in their keynote speech, emphasized the opportunities and expertise that higher education institutions have to cooperate and contribute to the implementation of activities aimed at recognizing, raising awareness, and increasing preventive skills regarding the phenomenon of radicalism and violent extremism.
