The director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi interacted as panelist in the side event “The Ripple Effects of the Fall of Afghanistan – Community-Based Prevention of terrorism”, to discuss on the challenge of preventing Violent Extremism people leaving Albania and Western Balkan countries to avoid any possible flow of Foreign Terrorist Fighters.
During the online side event, the achievements of the Albanian Government and the contribution of the CVE Center in preventing the phenomena of radicalism and violent extremism were presented in order to strengthen the community and curb exodus not only from Albania but also from other Western Balkan countries and the region.
