The Director of the Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Dervishi was invited to the discussion on “Media cooperation with public institutions and civil society in covering issues of violent extremism and terrorism”, organized by the Albanian Media Institute.

During the debate, it was discussed about the challenges faced by government institutions for violent extremism and terrorism, the factors that affect the phenomenon of violent extremism and radicalization in Albania, as well as opportunities for cooperation with the media and how this aspect can be improved.

Mrs. Dervishi, in her speech, mentioned the initiatives taken by the CVE Center for information and interaction with the public. The CVE Center aims to deepen further in this context, by developing a dedicated TV show to address issues of radicalism and violent extremism.
