The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism conveyed her greetings and held the closing remarks for Global STRIVE-Hedayah in the closing event of the program “STRIVE for Impact”.
The Director of the CVE Center, Ms. Lejdi Dervishi concluded the recommendations of the conference, underlining the important role of Civil Society Organizations in Albania and highlighting the importance of regional cooperation in the framework of prevention and reintegration, focusing on the practices followed by Albania.
Mrs. Dervishi after thanking Deputy Director of Hedayah, Mr.Veenkamp for the support, highlighted the importance of strengthening local referral mechanisms in order to refer cases as well as cooperation with religious communities by extending the focus to the engagement of young people in the prevention of radicalism.

Support of the local level for the establishment of mechanisms for the Violent Extremism identification, prevention, and reintegration (Local Public Security Councils, schools, etc.), training manuals, guides for front line actors on identification, prevention and reintegration, capacity building for preventing and countering violent extremism front-line actors as well as organized various workshops, forums, local activities and conferences on the phenomenon by developing tools such as a counseling line for the prevention of violent extremism, various researches in collaboration also with representatives of religious communities.
