The Director of the CVE Center, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, and two other representatives from the Center participated in the two-day virtual dialogue organized by the UN Office Against Terrorism and the UN Mission in Spain, on the topic: “Dialogue with Human Rights and Civil Society Partners to Build a Better Paradigm to Prevent and Counter-Terrorism”.
This virtual dialogue took place in two main sessions emphasizing the importance of respecting human rights in counter-terrorism efforts, and the role of civil society in preventing and combating terrorism / respecting the rights of victims of terrorism.
During the second session, a documentary on women victims of terrorism in Spain was presented for the first time, emphasizing the importance of the opportunity for equal rights and taking into account the needs of female (women and girls) victims.
