The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism conducted a study visit in Pristina within the project “Universities, the sphere of the future for CVE- raising awareness and engagement of university education actors in the fight against violent extremism”.

The visit was carried out in cooperation with the Rectorate of the University of Tirana and Korça, as well as the Institute of International Studies that is implementing this project with the support of the US Embassy in Tirana

During this visit, meetings were held with the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, with Deputy Rector of the University of Prishtina and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, in the framework of cooperation and exchange of experiences between the University Rectorates of the two countries and interventions in universities for the Action Plan against Violent Extremism.

In the meetings held, both parties showed a willingness to cooperate for the realization of unified interventions in the university system in the framework of the implementation of this project.
