The Center for the Study of Democracy and Governance (CSDG) published the study “Exploring the development of a strategic communication in P / CVE in Albania – Research-based approach” conducted in collaboration with the CVE Center.
This study analyzes recent trends on the role of propaganda in promoting radicalism and violent extremism in our country. It examines the phenomenon of violent extremism in Albania, policies and measures taken to prevent and combat this phenomenon, and also analyzes the impact of propaganda as one of the main factors of radicalism.
The study will support the efforts of the CVE Center for the development and establishment of effective strategic communications, in the framework of the development of Strategic Communication which is one of the objectives of the National Strategy for Countering Violent Extremism.
Prepared with the support of Hedayah, the International Center of Excellence for Combating Violent Extremism, and funded by the European Union, this study can be considered a strong cornerstone in terms of the defense mechanisms that the Albanian state and society are building, to defending democratic values in terms of preventing and opposing violent radicalism and extremism.
