The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism participated in the regional workshop on the topic:“ Well-being in the Western Balkans”, organized by MNE Forum and the Center for Civic Legal Initiatives, within the project “Communities first: Establishment of a civil society center to address violent extremism – from prevention to reintegration “, on June 24-25 in Podgorica, Montenegro.

This workshop brought together civil society professionals, policy-makers, researchers, as well as media professionals committed to preventing and combating violent extremism throughout the Western Balkans region.

The CVE Center shared with other participants the main developments in the prevention of violent extremism, as well as the new and existent challenges that arise for violent extremism in Albania. This workshop enabled the exchange of knowledge, networking and finding common policies for the region on issues of violent extremism.
