The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism monitored the event organized by the Woman Center for Development and Culture Albania (WCDCA) for the establishment of a women’s council in Kavaja, within the program “Sustainable reintegration in the community of Albanian citizens returned from Syria”. This activity aimed to strengthen the role of women in communities, to promote cooperation, social cohesion and building sustainable communities.
The event was part of the program to be implemented in Albania by the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) in cooperation with the CVE Center, the WCDCA and the Observatory for Children’s Rights with the financial support of Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund – GCERF.
