26/01/2023The fight against terrorism, the deputy minister of the interior, Romina Kuko, meets with the American delegation of the Department of Justice
Deputy Minister of Interior, Romina Kuko has held a meeting with an American Delegation of the Department of Justice.
“ I had the pleasure to host, together with the Director of The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mr.Denion Meidani, the senior delegation of the Department of Justice of the United States of America headed by the Deputy General Director of ICITAP Mr. Arturo Venegas, Assistant Director of ICITAP for Europe and Asia Mr. Stephen Fields, ICITAP Assistant Attached to the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism Mr. William Sage and other representatives from ICITAP, OPDAT and the American Embassy in Tirana”.
The purpose of this meeting was, among other things, to increase further cooperation between The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, the Ministry of Interior and ICITAP in joint fight agains violent extremism and terrorism.
We thank Mr. Venegas and the team for the help and support that ICITAP has provided for almost 20 years
