The Center for Coordination Against Violent Extremism participated in the multi-stakeholder training organized by the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department and the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA), in cooperation with the OSCE Presence in Albania. The training focused on “Improving Juvenile Crime Prevention and Drug Use Prevention through Rule of Law Education and Awareness Campaigns to Address Organized Crime Threats.”
As part of this initiative, the campaign aims to raise awareness among youth in Albania about the importance of the rule of law and integrity, as well as to strengthen their resilience against involvement in organized crime, corruption, and drug use.
The seminar sought to engage relevant state authorities in Albania, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education and Sports, and the Ministry of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption to contribute to the development of a public awareness strategy based on the needs of society as a whole.
