The CVE Center in cooperation with the Albanian Helsinki Committee and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth organized the first “Talk Show” activity with students in schools in rural areas, and specifically with high school students from the Rrëshen.

This activity’s purpose is to encourage high school students in rural areas towards critical thinking, constructive debates, acceptance and promotion of diversity, better understanding and debate about violent extremism and related issues, and to help young people in need who are at risk of radicalization or even recruitment. At the same time, it aims to increase the capacity of teachers in high schools in our country.

The event was part of the project “Consolidation of Community Resilience to Violent Extremism by Empowering Youth”, which is supported by the Embassy of the United States of America and is the first of five such activities that are expected to be implemented in the future.
