The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi and the Rector of the University “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës, Dr. Kseanela Sotirofski signed a Cooperation Agreement between them to raise awareness on forms of radicalism and violent extremism. The purpose of this Agreement is to enable cooperation between the Parties, in the framework of defining areas and ways of cooperation between the two institutions in order to operate effectively against the challenges and demands of the time and in order to achieve the goals and objectives described in National Strategy for the Fight Against Violent Extremism and Action Plan.

Among other things, the memorandum includes the recognition, research and promotion of values ​​of tolerance, peace and coexistence of communities with cultural, ethnic, religious diversity, etc. The ceremony of the cooperation agreement with the Rectorate of UAMD was organized by the CVE Center at its premises.
