The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism contributed to the seminar conducted by the OSCE Presence in Albania and the Austrian Ministry of Defense, focusing on “Effective Security Sector Governance through Partnership between Security Sector Institutions and Civil Society”.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness of representatives of the security sector and civil society about governance and security sector reform, the role of cooperation with each other in this context, the identification of needs and opportunities between security sector institutions and civil society to work further together, as well as creating opportunities for inter-institutional exchange and networking.

The CVE Center was represented by the Director, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi and the specialists of the Coordination Sector for Civil Society and Security Affairs at the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism.
