The Coordination for Countering Violent Extremism organized a meeting with senior representatives of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund and representatives of embassies in Albania to discuss Albania’s experience in preventing radicalization and reintegration of returned citizens from conflict zones. in the community.

This roundtable, which the CVE Center organized in the form of a consultative meeting with donors focusing on monitoring and evaluating Albania’s progress in all sectoral policies, was attended by representatives of the Dutch Embassy in the country, the Swiss and German Embassies, as well as and psycho-social staff and civil society organizations.

During this meeting, whose work focused on ongoing community programs for the rehabilitation and reintegration of returnees and their families, it was emphasized that we are committed to strengthening the current monitoring and evaluation mechanisms in cooperation with the community of donors as well as to advance security, order and the fight against crime.

GCERF is collaborating with the CVE Center by financially supporting civil society organizations in Albania that are implementing projects focusing on the reintegration of individuals returning from conflict areas to the community.
