The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism welcomed on its premises the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Unit in the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the European Commission, Martin Schieffer, and his delegation.

During this meeting, the Joint Action Plan against Terrorism in the Western Balkans was discussed, as well as the challenges encountered during the rehabilitation and reintegration processes for returnees from war zones.

Also, during the meeting were discussed important issues that were the approach of the CVE Center related to the phenomena of violent extremism and radicalism in schools, prisons, as well as in communities.
