The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism has signed the cooperation agreement with the Rectorate of the University of Tirana. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Director of the CVE Center, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, and Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, Rector of UT.
The agreement aims to raise awareness of countering violent extremism and radicalization and promote the values ​​of tolerance, peace, and coexistence of communities with cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity to students. The agreement also aims at the recognition and professional training of candidates for the profession of teacher, psychologist, social worker, lawyer, public administration employees, and journalists, through the findings of scientific research activities, on the identification of individuals and factors promoting violent extremism and radicalization in the community.
