The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, contributed on the latest developments of the rehabilitation and reintegration processes in the regional meeting of the National Coordinators CT-P / CVE of the Western Balkans, which was held in Tirana.
During the meeting, the participants shared the experiences of the countries of the Western Balkans and the continuation process of the cross-border cooperation to fight organized crime in the Western Balkans, within the framework of rehabilitation and reintegration processes of returned individuals from conflict zones.
The meeting was attended by regional security and counter-terrorism experts, the EU delegation in Sarajevo, representatives of line ministries in Albania and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The CSC WB project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Italian Ministry of the Interior and the Center for International Legal Cooperation (CILC), co-financed by the European Commission (DG NEAR), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development- the German Government (BMZ).
