The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, contributed to the workshop of the Regional Network of National CT/CVE Coordinators for the Action Plan countering Violent Extremism in the Western Balkans, organized by IOM in Albania, with the support of the European Union.

The Director of the CVE Center, representatives of line ministries, and partners from the Western Balkans shared their experiences and discussed sustainable, systematic and multi-layered approaches to the rehabilitation, reintegration and re-socialization processes. During this training, the issues of protection of critical infrastructures and public spaces against terrorist threats were addressed, as well as a summary of the results of joint efforts to build the capacity of government structures and front-line practitioners working in this field.
