The CVE Center, in cooperation with the OSCE Presence in Albania, organized a cross-border meeting of officials from Albania and North Macedonia, in Pogradec.

The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism held a meeting with the Director of the Department for Border and Migration and the Director of Counter-Terrorism at the General Directorate of State Police.
The purpose of the meeting was to assess the needs of local structures for the identification and prevention of people with radical tendencies or violent extremists who may enter the country through migratory flows or as potential asylum seekers.
The meetings that took place in Gjirokastra, at the Local Directorate of Border and Migration and the Kakavija Border Crossing Point, were attended by senior leaders of the Local Police Directorate and representatives of the community policing in the Directorate for Public Order and Security at the Ministry of Interior.
