Western Balkans Resilience Forum – Collaborative Approaches to Confronting Extremism through Action

The Western Balkans Resilience Forum was organized on November 14-16 in Budva, by the International Republican Institute (IRI), in cooperation with the SCN / ISD and supported by the US Department of State. The Forum is expected to bring a more practical for inter-cooperative work in building elasticity against conflict and extremism in local communities and with a specific application on local initiatives and cities.

The Interior Ministers from across the Balkans were present, as well as the CVE National Coordinators, academics and leading researchers, as well as NGOs and organizations that make impact in this area. This activity is thought to be an excellent opportunity to see local action initiatives, to share best practices with other cities, and to learn and contribute to policy models and practical implementation in this area.
