The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism contributed to the Regional Conference: “Media, Terrorism and Foreign Terrorist Fighters in the Western Balkans – Case Studies”, held in Croatia.

Albania was represented by a three-member delegation, which included representatives of the CVE Center, the State Police and the Ministry of Defense. The conference addressed issues of digital media and terrorism, the impact of technology on the spread of extremist propaganda, as well as appropriate ways to deal with this phenomenon. Also, the representatives of the countries that participated in this conference shared their experiences on these topics.
