15/02/2022The Director of the CVE Center met with the Regional Security Coordinator of the Netherlands in Western Balkans to discuss the implementation of projects focused on reintegration of returnees from conflict zones.
The Director of the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism, Mrs. Lejdi Dervishi, held a meeting with the Regional Security Coordinator for Counter Terrorism of the Netherlands in Western Balkan and representatives of the Embassy of Netherlands in Albania. During the meeting, was discussed the progress of the process of drafting the new National Strategy for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Radicalization, as well as the Action Plan 2022-2026.
During the meeting was also discussed the cooperation of the CVE Center with civil society organizations in Albania that are implementing projects focusing on the reintegration of returnees from conflict zones into the community, with the financial support of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).
