

Strenthening the capacities of pre-univerisity students on P/CVE
The CVE Center continues its commitment to raising awareness among young people and strengthening community resilience against all forms of radicalization and violent extremism.
On March 18th, 2026, CVE Center coordinated the organization of a one-day informational sesion with the students of the Foreign Language High School “Pandeli Sotiri” in Gjirokastër. The activity was implemented by WIT, within the framework of the Project “Resilience and Enpowerment of Albanian Youth against Digital Hate and Extremism (READY)”
The sesion aimed to enhance the knowledge of young people on online safety and to increase their awareness of mechanisms for preventing and countering radicalization and violent extremism. During the sesion, students and teachers were introduced to the mision of CVE Center and were provided with essential information regarding key concepts of online radicalization and the factors influencing its spread.
Discussions focused on issues that directly affect young people in the digjital environment, including online bullying, hate speech, and harmful content. Participants were also presented with the reporting channels and procedurës, with emphasis on the importance of early intervention and cooperation with responsible institutions.
Through such activities, the CVE Center aims to promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment both online and offline, contributing to the development of a more resilient and better-informed community.
