The Coordination Center Against Violent Extremism participated in the regional training “Radicalisation – How to Identify and Effectively Handle the Cases,” held on 6–7 November 2025 in Rome, Italy.

This activity was organized within the framework of the EU Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN), in cooperation with the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Interior, and other partners from the region.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of frontline professionals in the early identification of radicalisation cases and their effective handling through inter-institutional cooperation.

Topics discussed during the sessions included:
definitions and dynamics of radicalisation, push and pull factors, case management and risk assessment, as well as the sharing of best practices among participating countries.

The Center’s participation in this training marks another step in reinforcing cooperation with European and regional partners in the field of preventing violent extremism and promoting community resilience.
