The Coordination Center Against Violent Extremism (#QKEDH) coordinated and participated in the latest meeting of the Regional Committee for the Prevention of Radicalization and the Fight Against Violent Extremism in Kukës County, with the support and under the leadership of Mr. Dritan Baji, Prefect of Kukës County.

The National Coordinator, Ms. Lejdi Dervishi, emphasized the key role of the Regional Committee in preventing, identifying, and referring cases of radicalization and violent extremism, whether individuals or vulnerable groups at risk or already radicalized as well as monitoring all actions related to the rehabilitation, reintegration, and resocialization of returnees from conflict zones, at the county level, in coordination with the Office of the National Coordinator for the Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism.

This topic remains highly sensitive and important for our communities, and continued engagement with local communities and key institutions is essential.
