On November 13th and 14th, the CVE Center led crucial info sessions in Shkodra and Kukës, working closely with community policing and border police officers. These sessions, part of our new awareness and training series, were conducted in partnership with the OSCE Presence in Albania and aimed at strengthening the capacity of law enforcement in early identification and response to violent extremism and radicalization.
In Shkodra, officers received valuable tools and insights to help recognize and refer early signs of radicalization, ensuring they are prepared to contribute to a safer, more resilient community. The following day in Kukës, our efforts continued with a focus on empowering officers with practical strategies to build a more resilient environment against potential threats.
Together, we are equipping frontline officers to make real, positive change and help protect their communities. This commitment to proactive safety measures in both Shkodra and Kukës reflects our shared mission to foster stronger, safer communities across Albania.
