The Coordination Center for Countering Violence Extremism in cooperation with Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth (MESY) and the International Association for Solidarity (IAS) trained teacher-coordinators for countering violent extremism of the local education offices throughout the country

The CVE Center in cooperation with MESY and the International Association for Solidarity (IAS) has conducted two training sessions with teacher-coordinators for countering violent extremism in the Local Education Offices of: Lezhë, Fier, Kurbin, Durrës, Korçë and Pogradec.

The trainings took place in the framework of the implementation of the project “Promoting education to prevent violent extremism” supported by the US Embassy in Tirana.

During these trainings, the teacher-coordinators were informed on the signs of radicalized children, the push factors for young people towards radicalization, as well as about the cooperation and referral mechanism in place at local level as well as in schools.
