07/04/2021The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism trained the Health and Social Care Staff of several operators in the country on the reasons leading to the phenomenon of violent extremism
The CVE Center held from March 31 to April 1, a training with the Health Care Staff of the Elbasan Operator as well as with the Social Care Staff of the Regional Directorate of State Social Service of Elbasan, Korça and Berat, on the reasons that may be the cause of the phenomenon of violent extremism.
The two-day training addressed the topic: “What makes us vulnerable to radicalism and violent extremism: The process of rehabilitation and reintegration of Foreign Terrorist Fighters and their families.”
This training, which focused on the exchange of experience in theoretical approaches, was followed by a second session of work on concrete interventions in Albania since 2020, which were initiated and coordinated by the CVE Center in cooperation with the line Ministries and also with national, regional and international partners.
