The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism finalized the second phase of MoviEQ methodology training for 10 (ten) Albanian professional facilitators from different line institutions. This cooperation with the CVE Center in Albania and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Kosovo, in the framework of a regional project supported by the Government of the Netherlands, aims to implement this methodology in the Western Balkans.

This activity held in Kosovo was focused on creating capacities for facilitators in developing resilience, emotional intelligence, and active and critical thinking skills on preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) concepts.

During this activity, all the facilitators were tested and assessed for their capability of conducting this training methodology in communities, especially with teenagers, and for the first time, Albania has its first pool of facilitators of this methodology which has been accredited by Cambridge University.

The Albanian facilitators are supposed to become trainers for other colleagues of different line ministries that collaborate with the CVE Center to prevent violent extremism and enhance capacity building for a resilient society.
