20/07/2021The CVE Center with the Terre des Hommes mission trained the employees of the Municipality of Librazhd on the integration into the community of returnees from conflict areas
The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism with the Terre des Hommes mission in Albania organized for the municipality of Librazhd, two-day training on “Community Admission for returnees from conflict zones and the primary role of Local Public Safety Councils in this process.”
The training was attended by staff and representatives from the municipality of Librazhd, who were trained on the legal framework and work of the CVE Center, action plan and mechanisms set up at the local level for crime prevention, assistance to victims of the phenomenon of radicalization and violent extremism, as well as the functioning of Local Public Safety Councils and the role of its members.
During the training, among other things, the main challenges faced by society during the return of children and women from conflict areas were discussed.
