The project is implemented by the Center for Legal and Civic Initiatives in cooperation with Forum MNE (Montenegro), Partners Kosova – Center for Conflict Management (Kosovë), Centre for Common Ground (Maqedoni), DamaD Kulturni Centar, Novi Pazar (Serbi) dhe Hope and Homes for Children (Bosnje & Herzegovinë), with the financial support of the European Union.

In order to increase the capacity of civil society organizations working with communities, the CVE Center in cooperation with the Center for Legal and Civic Initiatives (CLCI) and the Inter-Religional Council have conducted 7 (seven) 3 (three) day trainings, in 7 ( seven) regions of the country entitled “Together to prevent and combat violent extremism in Albania.”The training was attended by about 250 participants from the country’s civil society organizations. Thanks to this project:

– The Mapping Report “Civil Society in the Prevention and Combating of Violent Extremism in Albania” has been drafted.

– A database has been created with civil society organizations, as part of the Civil Society Network, with about 60 organizations from all over the country.

– The National Action Plan for Civil Society “For Countering Violent Extremism in the Republic of Albania” has been drafted.

– Several civil society organizations have been selected to implement small grants to prevent and counter violent extremism in the country.
