The CVE Center in cooperation with the Interregional Council and the Center for Civic Legal Initiatives (ILCS) conducted the fourth training of the Tirana Civil Society Organizations on the topic “Together to Prevent and Combat Violent Extremism in Albania”.

Representatives of organizations working mainly with marginalized groups of the society participated in the training that was held at ILCS offices. The participants got acquainted with the National Action Plan for Countering Violent Extremism and the activity of state institutions working in this field. The training provided themes explaining the CVE Center platforms such as civil society networks, media, youth, women and religious communities.

The training also discussed the history of official religious beliefs in Albania, viewed from an anthropological point of view, analyzing at the same time religious beliefs and their impact on society.
