The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism greeted the young people, who participated the three-day summer school “Youth Against Violent Extremism”, organized by the Albanian Helsinki Committee. The event was attended by about thirty young people, members of the Student Governments of the five high schools involved in this activity.

Young people were introduced to the issues of violent extremism, to address these issues in extra-curricular activities that focus on community involvement. The event took place in the framework of the project “Consolidation of Community Sustainability against Violent Extremism by Empowering Youth”, which is supported by the US Embassy in Tirana.
