The Center for Countering Violent Extremism continues raising awareness of young people in the process of overseeing the Probation Service as part of the implementation of the Ministry of Justice Action Plan for the Prevention and Opposition of Violent Extremism

The last session of this year, in the framework of the OSCE project, was held in the city of Shkodra. Previously, five such sessions were held with young people in the process of supervising the Probation Service in the cities of: Tirana, Korça, Fier, Vlora and Gjirokastra. The sessions aimed to inform attendees about the values and importance of intercultural and interregional dialogue to promote respect for diversity, the factors that influence violent extremism, and the impact social networks have on promoting this phenomenon. The sessions were conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, specifically in cooperation with the Probation Service, with the support of the OSCE.
