The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism participated in the presentation activity of the first Monitoring report on the implementation of the Inter-Institutional Plan for Resolution 1325 “On Women, Peace and Security” in Albania.

The gender component indicated that women and girls were affected by the conflict in Syria and Iraq by joining husbands and / or calls issued by terrorists.

During this reporting was also presented the work of the CVE Center, which during 2018-2019 has undertaken several capacity building engagements for frontline actors with the Ministry of Interior and local government.
