The CVE Center together with the inter-institutional ministerial working group held their first meeting to organize the work on the implementation of the Inter-Institutional Plan for the Reintegration of Returnees from Syria and to get to know more specifically how the plan will be implemented.

Given the recent developments in Syria and Iraq, the political will of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania expressed in front of  Albanian citizens and partners has placed all responsible ministries in charge to work on the implementation of an updated reintegration plan on their commitments. These engagements of the Albanian Government since October 2019 have been multiplied in the efforts to return all Albanian citizens identified in Syria and in detention camps.

During the meeting, the National Coordinator Mr. Agron Sojati focused specifically on the responsibility of implementing this plan, explaining the stages of its development, while together with the Deputy Minister of Education Mrs. Lorena Haxhiu emphasized that all inter-institutional work of the working group should be coordinated and coordinated best among all members of the group both at political and technical level, in order not to move but to advance in the process of accomplishing the work.
