An operational training seminar dedicated to countering radical, violent extremist and terrorist propaganda on the Internet was held at the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism.

It was the Ambassador of the European Union to Albania, Mr. Luigi Soreca, who welcomed the seminar first and then addressed to the National Coordinator, Mr. Sojati, expressed his congratulations on the successes achieved in Albania in preventing and countering violent extremism, and provided continued support for the ongoing activity of the CVE Center.

Albania, recognized as a good model in the region for countering violent extremism, has been identified by the European Commission and the IISG Support Group as the first country in the region to conduct such training with Europol.

The purpose of this training seminar was to further enhance the cooperation between each country in the region and Europol in opposing terrorist-related online narratives.
