Youth Training against Bullying in Bulqiza

The USAID Local Planning and Local Government (PLGP) Project supports and works with the National Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE Center) in implementing the CVE National Strategy through awareness raising and capacity building in preventing extremism violent at the local level.
The PLGP project works to increase citizen engagement and empower civil society in preventing violent extremism through raising awareness and resilience to the socio-economic, political and cultural factors of radicalization. In this context, PLGP has supported the establishment of Youth Boards in the municipalities of Bulqiza and Cërrik. The Youth Board is a voluntary group with young people, aiming to increase their participation in decision making and community life.
The latest training on bullying aimed at increasing the capacity of young people against anti-social behaviors, such as bullying. The training was attended by 25 young people, a psychologist, a high school teacher covering civic education and the municipal staff.
