The CVE Center held a regional workshop at the local level with representatives of Dibër, Bulqiza and Dibër e Madhe (North Macedonia), focusing on cross-border cooperation between the municipalities concerned on “Strengthening cross-border cooperation and sharing good treatment practices. of the factors that lead to radicalism and violent extremism”

The meeting aimed at sharing good practices in order to increase the inclusion and cooperation between social service officials and civil society of Debar, Bulqiza, and Greater Debar (North Macedonia), on the possibilities of developing joint activities to reach them on better assisting at-risk communities, and discussing modalities of cooperation to establish a sustainable partnership.

This cross-border cooperation was welcomed by the mayors involved, who also invited the departments of social services and local NGOs that are front-line actors to address these issues.
