The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism contributed to the working group: “Development of intervention and rehabilitation tools for the treatment of radicalism in prisons”, in the framework of improving capacities to address radicalism in prisons in the Western Balkans, supported by the joint EU program / EC for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022.
During the meeting, which was attended by front-line actors in the Institutions for the Execution of Criminal Decisions, the importance of implementing tools for assessing the risk of radicalization in prisons was stressed.
