The CVE Center held meetings with university rectors in the country for the implementation of the cooperation agreement on prevention of violent extremism

Focusing on the prevention of violent extremism, the CVE Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, held during October, the first meetings with some of the Rectors of public and private universities in the country, in order to achieve a cooperation agreement between the rectorates, MESY and the CVE Center.

Meetings were held with the highest representatives of the rectorates of the universities such as “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës; “Aleksandër Xhuvani” Elbasan; “Fan S. Noli” Korça; “Eqerem Çabej Gjirokastër; “Ismail Qemali” Vlora; as well as with the rectors of private universities: “Beder” Tirana and “Pavarësia” Vlora.

In all the meetings held, the representatives of the universities expressed their full commitment for the accomplishment of this cooperation agreement, as well as offered their support in the development of various projects and activities to involve students and the community in countering violent extremism.
